Fancy golf restaurant with pretty good comfort food. The manager is really paying attention to every tables. The steak bits were slightly overdone.. but hey. You go there for confort food.
I ordered the flat iron steak and it was very well seasoned and delicious. I also sampled the tips and toast and that was also delicious and I loved the gravy. I didn't like how the pretzel sticks came on a bed of mustard, I wish that was separate. I also didn't like how my sweet potato fries came under my flat iron steak, that made them very soggy. Overall I would recommend but next time I will ask for things on the side. Oh and they didn't have milk which disappointed my dad.
This review is based on one aspect of service alone. We enjoy golfing at Crossgates and love to catch dinner at Copper Hill. We have always had fantastic food at this place and the wait staff have been equally great. Last night was extraordinarily different due to a rude interaction from the GM. We had only been at our table for a little over an hour with orders of apps, drinks, and dinner - no dessert or coffee. We had just finished dinner and I had a third of my glass of wine (my second and final glass) left to drink. He walked over and asked if we could leave because he had a table of 8 coming and he needed the table. Forgot to mention he seated us there in the first place! When we stood up to leave he saw the unfinished wine and told us we could sit back down to enjoy the rest of it. Ridiculous! I've worked in restaurants and patronized hundreds, but never in my life have I encountered such rudeness from someone who should clearly know better! There are plenty of other great p
