An excellent selection of shells and fillings to where you can make almost any taco you could ever imagine. Enjoyed the spicy options. Service was super fast and friendly. The jackfruit was a bit bland, so go with the chorizo, if you’re choosing vegetarian. Fun and colorful environment, however, they sat us in the back next to the stairwell and a grungy storage room with the door propped open. Excellent Mexican cuisine - we had assorted tacos and chips n dips. The hard shelled tacos are pretty good, I enjoyed the Plain Jane in particular.
I really wanted to love this place, because it's fun. The decor is fun. The food is fun. The menu is fun. But I didn't. I ordered 3 tacos: southwest Midwest taco, Lucy's fire, and Ooey Gooey. The only thing I changed was no smoked cheddar. I honestly wish I made my own because I think some of the sauces clashed- like maybe too much was going on. Maybe the cojita cheese was just too funky for me. ????????♂️ We did get a few create your own rice bowls, and our kids loved them. The rice was seasoned, it was a for serving. Everything was fresh and fast and funky. Just wasn't for me.
