Their lemon rice soup is the best in the area…my issue is with the additional fees…carry out fee, credit card fee, credit card minimums…doesn’t make sense to me. Many people don’t carry cash and credit/debit is easier to track and is more convenient. You can’t even buy a pint of lemon rice soup if you have a credit card, you have to get a quart.
Decent all around diner. Place was clean. Food was pretty good, not fantastic but good. Service was excellent. My only real complaint was the gravy on my open face roast beef looked like poultry gravy but didn't taste like poultry, nor did it taste like beef. It was bland and well....... just bland tasteless gravy. Would have been fine if it was the usual rich brown gravy but was a yellowish tan bland gravy.
Had a nice breakfast a couple months ago... stopped in again today.. the waitress was unnatentive an did not see me waiting... a nice customer let her know I was waiting... she just huffingly told him to tell me to sit down...5 min later she came to my table... I tried to order 1 pork chop eggs potatoes toast... kind of huffingly told me ok but you gotta pay for 2 pork chops!?...hmm ???????? What ever happened to friendly service and you could order what you want and pay for what you got!?
