Colorado Springs Pies and Grinders

Some of my favorite pizza in the springs! I feel like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would love this pizza. They don’t skimp on the toppings and the cheese is probably my favorite part of their pizza. I go with lite sauce but their sauce is good either way. And this is sacrilegious to some but I love dipping the thick crust in some of their ranch! Definitely some of the best pizza in Northern Colorado Springs

This was a clean and well-lit place with good service. It's not quick, but the place has a boisterous charm to it. However, the pizza was not impressive. Which was a shame because I really wanted to like it. The sauce and cheese were good, the pepperoni was not as good as Marco's but not bad, and the crust wasn't bad. I can't really fully explain why it didn't work, except for whatever reason it didn't come together. I would say this an okay, middle ground pizza.

My husband and I had wanted to try Pies and Grinders for over two years now, and I’m sad it took us this long to give them a try. Our order was lost in the online ordering, so we ended up waiting for a long time, but they were so good about it and got it out to us super quickly once it was realized the ticket didn’t print. The service was great; the food was delicious. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a good pizza! I had their calzone and can whole-heartedly say, I haven’t had one this good for almost twenty years! I would give more stars if able.
