What a great bang for your buck with generous portions at great prices!! Wisconsin dinner club food with excellent down home nice service. It's a busy and lively atmosphere. The steak was griddle cooked (not chared) with a side of mushrooms, I added a few pieces of beer battered cod the side which were both good. I wasn't crazy about the shrimp DeJonge appetizer or the clam chowder but the house rye bread was excellent.
Our first time there. We really had a good experience with the food taste and presentation. As well as the service. Kelly was our server. I ordered one of the nightly specials. The almond maple crusted walleye was the best I have ever tasted. It was as long as the platter it was served on. Everything from the soup, salad, and entree was superb. My husband had the duck. He enjoyed it but had hoped for some orange sauce or stuffing next time. A great place with good service, food and very friendly atmosphere.
