This restaurant was previously Twisted Grove. The new name Collins Bros. Chophouse is a bit of a misnomer. The menu is not a chophouse menu. Actually, most of the menu (close to 80-90%) was still Twisted Grove's prior menu, which is fine because that was a good menu and a restaurant I liked to frequent, but not a chophouse. The name change didn't make sense for both of these reasons, which was a but disappointing...we were expecting a new menu with traditional chophouse items. The rotisserie chicken was still good, but the steak (my wife's meal) was not. The sides were also good. The wine menu is non-existent except for some by the glass options. We thought it was going to be new and it was not. It was not a chophouse and the only steak entree was not as good as what you would get an an Outback. Overall, it was just below expectations. If they had just kept the same name, or left off "chophouse" I would have maybe given one more star because Twisted Grove was solid. When you add "choph
We really enjoyed our experience from start to finish! Greeted warmly by staff, and we were seated outside on their lovely patio and even on a hot night, felt pleasant due to the misters. Server was attentive and the female manager very personable. I had the rotisserie chicken Cobb salad that was very good and my husband’s French Dip was too. And the chocolate mousse pie finished off dinner! Definitely will return!
Starter was Oyster Rockefeller with the Noble bread 10/10 great start. For dinner we shared the 16oz Prime Rib with goat cheese whipped potatoes and the ceaser salad. It was all very good all around. For sweets we had the buttercream cake also very good, perfect size for sharing.
