Cog Hill Golf & Country Club

Played course #2. It is in great shape, true fast greens, and in my opinion, the most scenic of all four courses at Cog. The staff is also professional, friendly and helpful. We were a twosome, and had an 8:10 tee time. We were on the box early, no in front or behind us, so the starter let us go off early, which enabled us to play a three and a half hour round! A must play!

Excellent golf club for all levels of players and budgets. #4 is a world famous / championship course, #2 is one of the best values (a lot of similar design elements as #4 but substantially more affordable and less challenging). #1 and #3 are very affordable “muni” courses. A bonus - very good practicing facility!

Played Dubsdread over the weekend. Most of the bunkers needed a good raking but that was our group's only complaint. I was fortunate enough to only find two. One was packed down like a dirt road, the other was playable but my playing partners weren't as fortunate and voiced their concerns quite a bit. The grass is another story. The rough is pro level, fairways are pristine and the greens are firm and fast.
