Had to walk out. 45 minutes of waiting for fish and chips. There were few tables. Appeartly the cook cannot do his job on a slow day and management doesn't know how to help. We simply left. Wanted a good experience, unfortunately cocos is not at all what it used to be.
This is a place my 83 year old mother took me for breakfast with her aging dementia life partner. My mom and her partner have been here many times. The people at the restaurant were very helpful with them when they had problems getting out of the booth, and they were right there on the door when we came in and when we left. They also were very friendly and helpful with aiding us with two walkers. The food is DELICIOUS. The omelet with the tomatoes, spinach and cheese was amazing. Their honey bran muffins are like little Bundt cakes that almost drip with honey and they are SO delicious. I bought all that they had after we finished our breakfast (they only had 2 left after the breakfast rush and we weren't going to wait 30 minutes for more, but they would have been worth waiting for more!). The cook presented a plate with perfectly cooked hash browns. I couldn't stop eating them. I would definitely return, matter of fact, we did. If I'm back in Tuscon again, Coco's Bakery is on my list to
Service was good although they were busy like most restaurants. The salad was super small for the price so I went ahead and returned it. It's not a side salad either it's a main salad and I am not kidding it was literally like a cup and a half of ingredients. The coffee is pretty weak if you're looking for a good cup of coffee with your breakfast you may want to tell the server to make a strong pot before bringing you coffee which our server did. Pretty good serving size with everything else.
