Love this place Have been coming here since it was Coconut Caribbean, like a decade ago. The quality of food hasn't changed. The mutton dish is still to die for. The jerk chicken is awesome and the shrimp and salmon are yum. It's always a pleasure to come back here and have a meal which seems so homely and yummy. My top pick here is the mutton dish and then the shrimp, followed by everything else.
If this is your first time trying Jamaican food, this is the place to come! Such flavorful food, and the hospitality we were given from the manager, Cornell, will keep us coming back! We tried a little bit of everything, but it was so tasty we only got 1 picture!! Jerk Chicken Tip: If you or your party is sensitive to spice, it’s best to order the sauce on the side Also, it’s worth mentioning that the corn festivals were to die for ????
This is not a Jamaican restaurant- more like a Caribbean influenced spot. The plantains were great, but the jerk pork was not Jerk- more like a stew. The jerk wings were fried with a spooned on “jerk” sauce, the oxtail had a flavourful gravy missing many things. The meats were tender. The soup was from at least a day before and was subpar- we left it after a sip. The ambiance was nice and if you are nostalgic for Caribbean food or are curious, this is a decent starting point!
