Clara's Kitchen

No no, no and no. No fries, no bread,no red beans and rice and worst of all no Fresh Catfish. This was our first and last visit to Clara’s Kitchen. We ordered the catfish basket and it didn’t taste Fresh it was fishy. Worst Catfish ever. Thanks but no thanks.

I give them a 5 on customer service for this to be the best soul food restaurant that pops up in my area They must not know what soul food is the mashed potatoes was not from scratch that was box or instant potatoes the links was good the shrimp wasn’t Fresh shrimp it was bagged batter shrimp That they dropped in grease fries was good I will not be going back here I went there two days in the row cabbage was ok and red beans taste like bake beans Mac and cheese horrible and I gave them a 2nd chance on a Sunday to hood it was more cheesy and not dry it’s like put some cream of chicken milk and some real cheese or something

Pork chop was fried a little hard but the flavor and sauce were good. All the bread that came with the chicken sandwich and pork chop were soggy and falling apart at the touch. Mac and cheese tasted like it had no soul in it and was soggy. The greens were so over cooked they melted in my mouth. Kinda sad cause I was missing the soul food I could get back home in FL. Now I know to just go back there if I want something????
