Dated, dusty, average food, nothing outstanding. The outside doors were worn and needed painted as did parts of the building. There was no one to greet me for quite a while upon arrival. My table was worn with some missing finish. The wide wooden barrier between the bar area and main eating area was coated in dust and I was able to leave finger marks on it. I ordered the Tri tip which was Luke warm when I received it. It was chewy and not as tender as I would have liked. The jasmine rice was nice and well prepared. The ambient temperature was cold and my food cooled off too quickly. The server was the bar tender who seemed more interested in caring for his drinking customers and some apparent fellow employees than this customer. I use to live Claim Jumper and it has actually been several years since patronizing one. There needs to be some attention paid here. To the facility to the delivery of the food, to the quality and the experience. Not sure I will be back any time soon. Not sure
Arrived about 30 minutes before closing and because of this no server greeted me at the front desk, it was if they were trying to avoid me, so I would decide to leave on my own because it was so close to closing. But I was really hungry after a long day of driving and hiking, so I grabbed a menu and sat at the bar and order my mini 6 oz steak, BBQ sauce, wedged salad, and drink. It was all delicious and with military discount everything cost $62, plus tip! So $77 total. High quality food, a bit pricey, comfortable atmosphere, but service was lacking a bit. The bartender, however, gave great service!
Not good. My sister and I have been meeting there for lunch for about 6 years, minus the pandemic. Since the reopening, it has gotten progressively worse but today was bad in both the areas of service and the food. We had to ask for drink refills and there was really no service. No one came by to ask if we needed anything. We both ordered the Blackened Chicken with bow tie pasta. There was not the usual amount of chicken but the worst was the bread which looked like it had been in a kitchen fire. It should never have been served. I had to ask for some that was not black. When they brought new bread, it had been burned too. The burned part had been removed along with the cheese topping so it was pretty tasteless It was very disappointing. We will find another place for our monthly lunch. Some place that has some quality standards
