CityGate Grille was probably the most personalized and amazing dining experience we've ever had. Went here on a date with my wife, and the hostess greeted us by name at the door. The wait staff made us feel welcome as if we were regular patrons, even though it was our first time there. Our server was very conscious of our dairy allergies, and knew the menu backwards and forwards. He was very friendly and very conscious of the fact that this was a date for my wife and I, and he contributed to the romantic atmosphere by addressing us as "the young lady" and "the gentleman". Thanks to everyone at CityGate for an incredible dinner and for making this the perfect place for a dinner date! We've found in CityGate a new favorite restaurant! :)
We always love coming here! Had an excellent meal in the bar tonight, started with Buffalo cauliflower bites with gorgonzola cream dipping sauce, followed by lamb sliders and beef tenderloin medallions with wild mushrooms and marsala reduction over horseradish potatoes. Do yourself a favor and come eat here.....
This restaurant was recommended to us to try. It was a nice casual setting with many great drink options offered by Liz. We had dinner at the bar. The menu offered a variety, but not too much to overwhelm. We both had steaks and they were cooked perfectly. We also had sides of truffle Mac and double baked potato. Overall the service was five star, the drinks five star, the food was four star. A great place to have appetizers and drinks with friends or a couple. Also not a bad place to have dinner that is above average.
