First time in Ohio and so first sample of a BBQ joint here. Tasty as hell! Tender, delicious brisket and perfect saucy ribs, made all the better by topnotch sides like corn pudding, creamy coleslaw, baked beans (with brisket bits) and fantastic, flavorful hush puppies. I went to this location since the Reynoldsburg one is closed for rebuild. I went to the Gahanna location and there were no parking spots at all. So I'm glad I was able to find this one. Very nice and clean. The woman at the order counter was great at helping me get my order together. And it didn't take my food to be ready. Would definitely recommend this location!
I've been to City BBQ 2-3 times. They're good, but not great. At least the brisket is. The hush puppies are delicious and fresh! The meat every time I've gone tastes like it's been sitting out for a bit and was warmed up. I even went right when they opened. They're not BAD, but I guess I just expected a little more freshness cause it sure looks good.
