Just moved to this area of town and had never heard of City Barbecue. I intended to order from a place a hair closer, but they didn’t offer online ordering. City was next in line and we had THE SMOOTHEST curbside pickup experience. It was literally waiting for us as we pulled up! Not only that, but everything was excellent. Fresh, tender, perfect. I can honestly say, the best BBQ I’ve had in Louisville. Looks like we’ve found our new place!
I walked into City BBQ last Sunday just before noon and asked them if they could accommodate a group of 20 that would show up "soon." Without hesitation 2 employees led me into the dining area and began arranging tables and chairs in a way that was ideal for us. Very impressed with their attitude and service! I then ordered, and my my meal was ready in about 10 minutes. Delicious! After having dined there about a half dozen times before, I knew it would be. This place has never disappointed. My whole group seemed to have enjoyed the experience: no one had to wait too long for their food and they all enjoyed their meals. I even caught some kudos for making a good pick!
When you don’t need to add sauce on your BBQ you know it’s exceptional!! Love the atmosphere the great customer service!! Mr. Bob and his team are amazing. Smells so good ❤️❤️
