Decided to try Citizen Pie for lunch. These days I'm a lot more picky about my pizza (as I don't calorie splurge as often). Citizen Pie has great wood fired Pizza. Ingredients are high quality and delicious. Lunch special got me a small pizza that honestly could feed two and a drink for about $12. Not a bad value at all.
Coming from NYC this pizza was amazing. I was a little worried but there were some really creative and delicious toppings. Service was great. We were staying on the block and came here 2 days in a row!
My family can’t wait to go back to Citizen Pie and try more pizzas! We had the smoke pepperoni pizza and we added ricotta cheese to it. We also tried the margherita pizza. Wow is all I can say! My stepsons both ate all of their crust which is unheard of for them when eating pizza. I also want to try the calzone next time I go! Also, both gentlemen who working were extremely congenial and made us feel welcome.
