Very nice open hearth kitchen so you can watch the food being prepared. The wait staff (Sue today) is very efficient and professional. The food is excellent. Their red sauce is very flavorful and sweet, not too garlicky (so it's good for that first date) the Pollo de la Basilica is one of the best dishes on the menu. But the big draw to this place is the gelato. 10 or 12 different kinds of smooth, flavorful fun. Stop by just for that and an espresso, and you'll quickly return for a full dinner.
Local favorite! So many great choices and the place is awesome for a casual lunch, or a nice romantic evening. You really can’t go wrong with most of the stuff on the menu, the pizzas are great and crispy, the sandwiches are good and my favorite are the scallops. Love going here at Christmas time as well when they decorate. Always finish with some gelato for a great end to the night!
The calamari was not edible. It was completely overdone. The Chicken Salpimbocca was ok. The Rissotto was delicious. I was definitely disappointed!
