Energetic and bright restaurant with fresh, creative food and solid drinks. They had a delicious Bloody Mary—spicy and thick. Mimosas were great too—more sparkling wine than juice so not too sweet. Our waiter was very kind as well. The only complaint I had was that the bathrooms were a wreck. I literally cleaned up one of them because I felt bad for the staff, as it’s not their fault that guests were being trashy.
We came for restaurant week— we were able to be seated close to our reservation time and everyone was kind. The food was good but not everything was great. I liked the short rib with mushroom risotto and creme brûlée but thought the pumpkin soup was lacking a component to make it great. My fiancé found his choices to be pretty average (calamari and lobster ravioli). The cheesecake was a little too sweet and after 9 pm, the music is far too loud. It seems like Circe isn’t sure if it’s a restobar or a nightclub. Its certainly worth trying or dropping by for a drink, but it is a little pricy for the value and taste, and it is very hard to have a conversation.
That’s amazing place to have dinner and good moments.
