Cinnamon Sugar and Spice Cafe - Nob Hill

This is the first time that we have ordered and had the two extremes, we got the cinnamon french toast and the croissant sandwich. The croissant was delicious; it was soft, flakey and lightly buttery. It was a great sweet pairing with the savory egg and ham. The croissant came with cheesy hash browns,which were tasty but it is hard to screw up hash browns. The french toast however is probably the saddest excuse for French toast that i have ever had. It was dry, flavorless and almost worse than eating just a plan slice of toast. We also got the pecan sticky bun which was right in the middle had some great flavor toppings but the bun itself was very dry

The atmosphere in this place is so cool. Service is great. I think I ordered poorly on this visit. I expected too much from a frito pie. It is a pretty good frito pie but it wasn’t the best frito pie on my whole life. I’d give this place another chance.
