I don’t say this lightly… this is the best Mexican food—casual or otherwise—that I’ve had in New York. I come here all the time and it has never let me down.
The chicken empanada had almost no actual chicken in it.-tasted all mushy, and was mainly potato. The veg empanada does not taste good - weird texture and flavor. The birria taco is tasty.
Cielito Lindo Bistro was a Godsend. I had left my hairdresser's late Saturday night and was hungry. They were still open. I went in and ordered Empanadas, (chicken w/ cheese and beef w/cheese). I also ordered a Steak Burrito. I must say that I will travel back to my home borough of BK just to eat from here again. The food was fresh (I had ordered after 11pm). The food was beyond tasty and their portions are great. Keep doing what you're doing. It's no wonder why you're rated #1????❤️????
