I live near Ciao and since it has opened I am sure I have eaten here more than 30 times. And I have also ordered take out especially during the pandemic. To me the food is delicious and unique. Serving sizes are large and I often take some home. I particularly love to come for lunch. It is a little quieter and less crowded. I often come with friends and we can have a great visit without being rushed. Server Carl and owner Bridget are very kind and accommodating. My favorites are their soups, salads, and the savory monkey bread. I always know that if I have guests at my home and I can bring them to Ciao and we will not be disappointed.
Went to Ciao for the first time for a birthday dinner. The whole experience was wonderful. Our server was very nice and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend this hidden treasure in the Irish Hill neighborhood. We’ll be back!
First of all, I want to agree with another reviewer, how DOES this place have a 4.5 star rating? I went here a week ago and ordered just the Bruschetta appetizer, and it was easily the worst bruschetta I've ever had. It was made with 0 care. I make bruschetta at home in 5 minutes better than the gargbage they provided us. It was some store bought bread with lazily spread "cheese," barely sliced grape tomatoes and baby lettuce? It was just pitiful. I didn't even want to order an entree after that. I've never got up and left a restaurant after an appetizer until then. Also, no lemonade? ???? "Ciao" is correct ????.
