Church's Texas Chicken

I remember when Church's Fried Chicken was the bomb. This recent visit was such an anticlimactic experience. My chicken was so dry, I had to soak the meat b4 I could even feed it to the local cats. This is what happens when you go through the drive thru and get all the way home b4 you find out your food sucks.

First... I love church's... But this was not the best visit. We arrived Sunday around 1pm...lots of church (Ha) people there. The service was fantastic. The counter person was GREAT. The food was meh... Not the usual fresh tasting chicken that I love here. It tasted overcooked and old. There was a homeless (bum) hanging out inside begging for food/money. However, they did take care of the situation and run him out. Granted it may not have been the best visit this time... I love Church's and will continue to be a customer for a very long time.

Food was dry, lacked flavor and doesn't have the original church chicken umph we craved. Ok top of that, the generator running near the drive through made ordering nearly impossible and really frustrating. Service was mediocre, but I mean... It's 2022- guess that's the new norm. Wouldn't repeat at this location.
