Chubbie's Fried Chicken

I was introduced to Chubbie's by my husband. He raved about how amazing the chicken and biscuits were for months! I was intrigued to give it a try and I am quite pleased that I did. First off, I must say that the biscuits are hands down very soft, buttery, warm, and do melt in your mouth! His biscuits are "the truth" and I'ma country girl at heart who gives them a stamp of approval. Now, about the chicken. I had the wings which were not really all that! I believe that the grease they were fried in was not too fresh at all, and being so it did took away from the true taste of the chicken. My wings were good, but greasy! I still ate my meal, however I'm not hyped up about ordering from here again.

This was my first time going and it is definitely the best chicken hands down! I really liked the red beans and rice too and I dont even usually eat beans!

Now under new ownership but the food is still delicious. New ownership brought along even customer service.
