Went there for the first time with some chick's hubby on our first date and oh my God... it was all perfect. Quick service, friendly hilarious staff, and a nice calm place to relax and enjoy a great meal. We shared the food but I loved the biscuits and gravy. He loved the coffee and his pancakes, definitely going there again for more biscuits!
I’ve never written a review but the service was actually so terrible. Their food was bad and they got mad and started fighting with us when we simply asked to exchange one dish. A waitress told us to not order a dish if we knew we didn’t like it. We did like eggs benedict, their eggs benedict was just trash. When the bill came, they charged us the wrong dish. When we tried to get it corrected, a different waitress started threatening us to charge us for two different dishes. She said we can’t go to trader joe’s and return open hummus, but you literally can. They started yelling at us to never come back. They don’t know how to act civilly and have no customer service skills. Their food was also, as earlier mentioned, trash.
About average for taste, nothing great but nothing terrible either. If you’re looking for old school, greasy spoon diner food, this might be for you. The blonde hair server who greeted us was super welcoming but unfortunately the brunette lady who seated and served us, she’s wasn’t warm at all and kind of checked out (I asked for recommendations but didn’t get an answer, my husband was putting his order in and she goes “wait, wait, wait” turns and talks to some people on the street she’s familiar with for a hot minute and then turns back to us and says “sorry, what can I get you?”. The whole interaction was bizarre and definitely not friendly. The place seems mostly popular for older demographic.
