DO NOT EAT HERE! 1.) Hair in Chips and Salsa! 2.) Hair inside Beef enchiladas OMG so disgusting….NEVER Again will I go to this place! After showing the Management the BLACK HAIR….. I still had to PAY FULL price! Because they can’t get any business…. Good luck I’m letting everyone know!
I was super hungry. We wanted to try, because we heard they had great food. Both to go boxes and chips with cheese totaled $28. Regular main item. And a $7 kids menu fajita. Since when do fajitas not come with a tortilla? Cheese was the exact same price as the kid menu item. Smh. Very unique experience. They were not that busy. I tried to give this restaurant a try, but nope!
Prices were about $1-2 more per plate than they probably should be, especially for the quality and taste of the food. Got the enchilada dinner. The main thing that stood out to me was that the flavor was just off from what you expect. It's pretty hard to get enchiladas and refried beans wrong, but the chili sauce on the enchiladas had a strange, almost offbrand canned taste. The beans were unusually light in color and had like a vinegar flavor you could taste in the first bite. Even after a lot of pepper, it still didn't hide that taste and aftertaste. They were unlike any refried beans I've ever had. My wife's beef was also still pink (picture below). The desserts are good however, particularly the tres leches cake and the sopapillas. The chips and salsa were fine, but not special like you'd expect for the restaurant's name sake.
