Chipotle Mexican Grill

I’d like to preface all of this by stating that I have been operating restaurants for well over a decade and I have never experienced anything quite like tonight. I can understand what could lead to food being late (my order was finished 19 minutes past the “promised 8:30pm”) but I cannot excuse what I saw tonight. Someone (I heard him tell a guest that he was “security”) was posted at the door at 8:35pm turning people away and informing these potential customers that they were closed and no longer serving walk in guests. This is stating the obvious, but that’s 25 ministers before your posted closing time. There were probably 6-7 people in line before the started turning people away. Yet, there were an additional 6-7 people waiting for their online order. At one point, as a walk in guest was questioning why they were turning people away before close, the manager came out and pretty rudely provided an explanation. We catered for 15 people (build your own - triple ) with $16.15 per person. The food was not even enough 10 people. . SOme of the bases on the rice was so small even though we asked for two out of five bases. Please be considerate. People invite 15 people and plan for the event assuming the food will be similar to what we order in the store. We had to scramble to get pizzas. Worst experience. Very disappointed.

I went to the store to order the food, they said they are accepting only online order for chicken burrito bowl. So, I placed an order through Doordash and this is what I got (refer to the photo). Other than chicken, I didn't get anything. No rice, no beans, no queso, no veggies, no cheese, no guacamole. If you don't have enough food to serve the customers better shut the store, you don't have to fake run the business and send empty boxes for delivery.
