Chipotle Mexican Grill

On this past Wednesday, I visited your restaurant with great anticipation, looking forward to enjoying a delicious meal. Unfortunately, the aftermath of my visit was far from pleasant, as I fell ill and experienced severe symptoms of food poisoning. While I cannot definitively pinpoint the exact cause, I suspect that it may be attributed to either the vegetables (onions & peppers), or the sour cream that was part of my dish I ordered. I say this because me and my husband ordered the same thing, but he did not put vegetables or sour cream on his bowl. After reading the reviews here seems like there's a systematic issue with food handling at Chipotle.

I’ve had great experiences at Chipotle before but this time I WAS THE UNLUCKY CUSTOMER EATING A BUG. Not even a small bug, you can see in the picture that the head (which was all that was left over… and we couldn’t find the rest of the body in the bite I spit out) is about the size of a kernel of corn. This was a BIG bug I had unknowingly snacked on. I went to the register to see if I could get some help and all that was offered was a choice between a new burrito or a refund. I appreciate that I at least didn’t have to pay for my burrito but most of the time people get paid to eat a bug by their dumb friends, not be offered a free bug from Chipotle. This would have been a perfect opportunity to empathize with a poor traumatized customer who just ate a mysterious large bug with wings on behalf of her trust that Chipotle would deliver delicious food. I was looking for someone to say “I can’t believe that happened to you! I would imagine you probably lost your appetite so let me get that

I would avoid this Chipotle at all costs. The rice was hard as a rock, the ingredients were horrible, and the lettuce was not even green. I would recommend driving 15 minutes to a different Chipotle.
