We pretty much get the same thing every week: orange chicken, wantons, and egg rolls. The food is AMAZING! You wouldn't expect it because the store front doesn't necessarily look great (it's a little run down to be honest). The food on the other hand is exactly what New York style Chinese takeout should be. Did I say it was AMAZING? The girl taking orders is pleasant enough. You can tell when she's having a rough day based on how she answers the phone, but after coming here countless times, it's endearing. Besides, I think it's just her and two other guys running everything so a little stress every now and then is more than expected—and excusable given the excellent food and overall service. The place is packed every Tuesday night by 6:00, but the food is always ready, nice and hot, within 10 to 15 minutes. The portions are also huge. Masks are required in this location. The counter is plastic covered for covid prevention. Prices are in line with other oriental food locations. Staff was friendly and patent taking the order and reviewing it for accuracy. (No mistakes here). Next to BJ's. Makes it easy to shop and pick up food in the same trip.
