China River reminded my husband and me and me of the Chinese restaurant where we went as college kids on lunch dates nearly 30 yrs ago, complete with paper Zodiac placemats. :) We ordered very different lunch specials: I got shrimp with vegetables, steamed rice and hot & sour soup. He chose sesame chicken with fried rice and wonton soup. We both asked for our dishes to be made spicy, and we both really enjoyed the generous portions. Fully satisfied, we asked for our egg rolls to go. Vegetarian options: There are always lots of good veg. If you don't see what you want, ask. :) Kid-friendliness: Our kids live Chinese food. Start your kids young & they will too. Parking: Parking is ample and close.
Awesome taste and the portions are huge. Wow. I am amazed. I would definitely go again. These are lunch portions. I had about 3 pieces of chicken and a few spoons of rice. Both come with egg roll and soup too. Definitely recommend. The low price is hard to beat. Like $7-$8 per meal. Wow.
