OK. I grew up on Canton House on airport road and anyone who has been there knows that they were the best Chinese food in the whole city. When they closed, it was a very bad thing. I searched for a replacement that offered the same flavor, depth and savor. I found it at China Peace! Fried rice was perfect! Onions and bean sprouts (no peas and carrots). St. Paul's were on point and the Lo-Mein was a song. Canton House would be my first stop whenever I came to St. Louis. China Peace will now be my first stop from now on. Excellent!
Lunch specials provide lots of food for a reasonable price. Feb 2022 UPDATE: we've been ordering food here for 6 yrs and it's my FAVORITE place, and I always order the same dish. Owned by the same family all this time, Crystal (the daughter who usually takes the orders) is always friendly. The food has been delicious, consistently, all this time. I was very bothered when she told me a chain- competitor was opening directly across the street. We'll continue to support China Peace, exclusively.
Excellent ambience and super friendly service. The meals were fresh and yummy. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
