China Island Grill

First time ordering here and it was very good. Prices were reasonable, even less than other places in the area. Selections were great, they had items I can't find at other asian restaurants and their vegitarian choices were plenty, which is a huge plus for me. Ordered the street noodles, rice noodles with tofu and extra spicy. Usually ordering spicy, it never seems spicy enough but this was perfect. The tofu was spiced nicely and had a nice chew to it and really flavorful. Also got steamed veggies which were enough for three people with just one 4.95 order. Special fried rice with port, chicken and shrimp was cooked to perfection. Usually chinese places will over fry and you get dry chicken or rubbery shrimp, but bot here, everything was moist and tasty. Would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be back soon.

Amazing service, amazing food. It may look small, but this place is PACKING. I ordered the Beef Udon noodles with medium spice. It’s rare to see savory and spicy not overpower one another and be in perfect balance. The onions and snow peas that came with the dish were perfectly cooked to have both a nice crunch and yet show their natural flavors, as well as the ones they were cooked in. Even if they were frozen, i don’t care, they were absolutely great. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and very nice. I found one of my new favorite spots in Denton. Oh, and as a bonus. Music selection was amazing.

First time to eat at this place. Loved the excellent service and the food... Everything was great! The general tso chicken was really good! We will be back for sure! It's not very big seating area and it started getting busy a little after we got there but they were Amazing and would be worth the wait if they were full! Try it if you haven't. You won't regret it! ????????
