I've been hunting for decent Chinese food in central Iowa, and this place has been the biggest waste of my money so far. I ordered broccoli beef, chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, general's chicken, and some crab rangoon. Everything came in rectangular plastic cases, and I was disappointed that the lady taking my order didn't understand I wanted the "small" or "pint" sized portions. I spent almost 50 bucks on the order and barely touched each dish. The chicken chow mein contained exactly 0 noodles and was composed of soggy slices of chicken and veggies in a slimy grey sauce that had no flavor at all. The broccoli beef was probably the most decent, but the amount of flavorless sauce it was swimming in wasn't appetizing at all. General's chicken was supposed to be spicy, but instead it had a mild smokey flavor to it and nothing more. The chicken's breading was very soggy and I also couldn't finish it. 7/1/22 This place has the best fried dumplings and egg drop soup. 7/30/21 The quality and taste of food was Excellent. They have the best egg drop soup in town. Fast delivery too. This is my go to place for the best Eastside Chinese restaurant in Des Moines Iowa . We've tried several different items and all have been very good. Pictured is Mongolian Combo, Moo Shu combo and egg drop soup.

I have been very loyal to one certain restaurant and never ventured out to others until the last couple of times they “misplaced” my order. After trying this place for the first time, this is my new favorite place! Customer service was great, food was generous and delicious and the delivery driver was quick and friendly! Thank you for showing up on my search! I will definitely be calling you back.
