Chili's Grill & Bar

Chain restaurants aren't my favorite, but Chili's is pretty consistently good. It's a nice option to have as a family with smaller children. You always know what you can expect, which is nice. Good food, good drinks, good service, good value. Rated down 1 star because the whole restaurant needed a wipe down. Crumbs on tables and booths, food stuck on menu, stickiness on the tabletop tablet.

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 2 hamburgers for take out and asked for them to all be well done. When my daughter picked up the order from curbside she and her brother checked the order as I have always taught them to do. When she checked the order they saw that they had received 4 cheeseburgers. I sent them a screen shot of the order summary. They contacted the restaurant and asked for hamburgers to be re-made well done. They came home and gave everyone their food and much to our dismay one of the cheeseburgers was not well done but pink. So after a long day of work my husband had to call another local restaurant to order a cheeseburger well done and then go back out to pay for an additional meal since this was not done properly. With inflation and gas prices sky high this is unacceptable.

Our other favorite restaurants in the area were really busy, so we decided to check and see how Chilis was recovering. We were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of customers at 12:45PM. Today! Food was Great! Service was Great! Chips and salsa was free. The bartender Gray? or Grey? was super and had lots of personality. He hustled the whole meal. The chicken enchilada cup of soup was thick and had large pieces of chicken! delicious! Although slow, to be delivered, the Fiesta Chicken Salad was large (we ask for it to be split, but it came out whole and we had to split it, no biggie, but they use to split it for us). There was a little too much spinach for me. It was good, so I requested a doggie bag. We came often pre-COVID. But the service continued to decline. One time, they had run out of soda for the fountain drinks?? So whoever is managing the restaurant now, keep it going and we will start back making it a regular for us. Thanks for the turn around?
