Cudoz to the crew! Our waiter Dominic is doing great. The crew is slammed with customers and extremely short staffed and yet things are flowing well. The food was good, and the staff still takes time to check on every customer.
This review is about our most recent visit to this particular Chili's on Stapley Dr, not necessarily a general opinion of all Chili's everywhere. There were a few couples standing around outside (where there are NO benches!) so we knew there'd be a wait before we ever walked in. What we didn't expect is to be lied to about it. There were a LOT of empty tables on a Friday night, so we assumed maybe someone had called out and they were down a server. We like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. They said it would be 15 to 20 minutes. Okay, great. Except that 20 minutes came and went twice before we finally asked to be seated at one of the many empty tables. The food was fine. Nothing about it made me want to take a picture. The service was just barely okay--nice people, but slow. We never got beverage refills, so that was lame. Been coming to this location for years. I usually go with some kind of salad and their chicken enchilada soup (one of my favorites).
