Chico's Tacos

El Paso tradition, I try to go whenever I am in El Paso. No frills delicious rolled tacos, the sauce and the ridiculous amount of cheese is what makes it special. The sauce is tomato based but very light with a hint of spice, it's so good. The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, older building not so great area. Cash only. Must try, highly recommend!

My very 1st time to eat at Chico's, and may be the last time. I had their rolled up tacos in tomato broth with shredded cheese on top and green salsa on the side. It was hot, which is good, but the broth didn't have any flavour at all. Hardly any meat in the tacos and it was super dry. Green salsa made tacos somewhat good. My husband, who brought me here, wanted Chile Rellenos but they don't have it at this location. Cash only.

If you want some delicious Chicos Tacos.. come to this location! This location and the one near Washington Park are the only good ones nowadays. The food was definitely hot, the drinks were cold. Expect a line when you’re ready to order but it’s all worth it! Your food is served fairly quickly unless you order a burger/hotdog.
