Chico Blanco Mexican Kitchen and Cantina

This was the best find. We had a group of 4, we all got different meals, and we loved it so much we will be back tomorrow. The drinks are amazing. We had the patron tower and the strawberry haze and it was incredible. The vibe inside the restaurant was amazing. Also we left our card behind and the manager tracked us down a block away to make sure we had it. It was an incredible experience.

Frozen and canned food is better. The table side guacamole was cool but a little bland. Nothing a little salt and like couldn’t fix though. The queso Blanco was way too salty. I had them take it off my ticket because it wasn’t even edible. We got several tacos and they were all just bland, flavorles and just not good. The best one was the Birria taco but the compote sauce was a little too salty but still good. Rice and beans are average. The complimentary queso and salsa was average. The ceviche was awful. So bland and not fresh. The worst thing has to be the fajita. Insanely dry and flavorless. The best thing about Chico Blanco was our service and the drinks. The drinks are excellent. If I’m ever downtown and need to go somewhere for drinks, in-between bars, then I’d come here for drinks. Our server Kate was excellent. She was so sweet. We tipped her almost $100 because we had a large table and she Was just run, run, run all night.

Great relaxed atmosphere. Service was good and friendly staff. I had the Baja fish tacos, rice and beans. The rice was my favorite! My boyfriend had the Carne asada. I had a spiked horchata and it was delicious ???? I recommend this place.
