Chicken Salad Chick

We’ve been here several times without issue. Today we came for lunch and it wasn’t terribly busy. Waited 30 minutes for our food. I went to the counter and asked about the delay. The young lady checked with the kitchen. Our Order had not been made. I asked her to make it to go. Had to return to work. She snapped back “We are short staffed today, you’ll just have to understand.” I don’t appreciate such rudeness especially since I was nothing but polite. I get the short staffed thing, most places are short staffed these days. But rudeness is how you lose customers.

Have visited other locations in Memphis first time at this location. Did an online order, was a little behind understandably. Then cashier says they are out of certain items so we substituted for something else. Watched cashier check everything, well I should have checked as well as we were missing items. My wife found a hair in her sandwich and got sick from it.

It’s not exactly a place for men. It’s safe to say they are designed for the soccer moms. And my wife loves it. The best time to go is during the week after 2 pm. The lunch rush is crazy, and if you go on Saturday you will wait in a long line. The tuna sandwich is delicious. My wife is happy with the chicken salad. I was surprised to see kitchen staff without hair cover.
