I wish I had a picture but the food was gone too fast. Personal opinion: his sauce is better than Chick-fil-A. Top notch customer service, the food looked beautiful and not slapped together. 10/10 would recommend and I am definitely going back there next time I'm in California. What a hidden gem! First of all, there’s chicken related memes on the walls. My husband and I came here about 30 min before they closed and the owner happily welcomed us even though he had already sent his employees home. Since it was our first time, he explained the menu to us and gave us his recommendations. As we waited for our food, he gave us some free French fries with his signature mother clucker sauce, just so we could try it out. And let me tell you, it was AMAZING. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, our food came out and everything from the knuckle sandwich, to the knock out fries and everything else in between was delicious. The chicken was super crunchy (it’s coated in corn flakes) but very juicy and super flavorful at the same time. The experience of eating here was great from start to finish. The owner takes a lot of pride in his work, and it shows. Perfectly fried chicken, quality bun and veggies, and nice selection of craft sodas. The sauces are tasty too. All of this in a no-fuss, pretentious-free restaurant.
