First off this was the funnest experience I've ever had in a Chick-fil-A if I could shake Truitt's hand I would what a great idea to take and make a Hawaiian theme restaurant on the backbone of Chick-fil-A. Food was immaculate if you're going get the fried calamari it's more than worth it, also pork Lua tacos second favorite staff as friendly as always. Anything you need the staff is more than willing to go out of their way and help you with the very friendly spoke with the manager for the day was super informative on the history of truett's luau and he spoke of truitt as if he was a dear friend thank you again for this experience.
This was the worst Chick-fil-A experience I've ever had. I was in town and saw this location had a tropical twist to the menu. The positive first. The fish tacos were awesome. We had the grilled and fried. The slaw in top was flavorful too. The sweet potato fries were okay. No special seasoning, lightly salted. The tropical nuggets were okay. Half coated in sauce. I ordered takeout, after waiting 30 minutes, I was so ready to go, I didn't check the food. The receipt on the bag was correct, so I thought it was all there. We ordered sandwiches and nuggets, not a single sauce in any of the bags. Dry chicken sandwiches aren't good. They did give me another fry since mine were cold due to the wait, but just overall disappointed.
The food was really good, the host was very nice. They weren't operating at full capacity so we had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated even though it wasn't busy for the full service dining room, but we loved the food options available. Very different from any other chick fil a.
