Good People it’s a NEW Peruvian Charcoal Chicken spot near Capital Plaza!! People have asked me how I find some places. Well I was about hit that Walmart, & I saw this jont!! This was my first time eating Chicho’s and it was absolutely horrible. Since it’s a fairly new addition to my area I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered via DoorDash and despite the food coming in a respectable amount of time, my order was cold. The veggies, the chicken, AND the rice—All cold!! The rice was overcooked and every bite of it was tough and hard. (I could only manage to take a few bites, the rice was so hard and overdone.) The mixed veggies seem like they came out of can and are not house made. Not to mention the whole dish seemed old as if it had been sitting for some time and not properly replenished/prepared. I am so disappointed. The only thing I managed to eat was the chicken since I was starving, but even that made my stomach feel a little ill after I finished it. I threw the meal away and wasted 15-16 of my good dollars!! I also ordered the Southern Peach calypso and they bagged the wrong drink and gave me a fruit punch lemonade instead.
