Once a southeast Denver gem, the Cherry Crest has fallen hard. My wife and I wanted to enjoy a favorite from the past. We ordered mussels and received 10 total. Underwhelmed to start. We both ordered the broiled walleye. The bland, rubbery filets that arrived looked and tasted more like tilapia that had been defrosted. Such a huge disappointment!
Both the food and service were wonderful. The fish and sauces were perfect. My friend and I are both looking forward to returning. Dietary restrictions: They have a nice gluten free menu.
We have been going here for years. Always delicious food, friendly staff. A very welcoming place to go.
