The food was just ok. Reuben was served without the sauce. The potato au gratin was flavorful but a bit mushy for me. The beef tenderloin Benedict was delicious, meat was tender. The huevos rancheros were not good, too much tomato sauce. Prices are reasonable. Original restrooms so they are tiny. Not sure if they take reservations but people were getting ahead of us because they had called ahead. Not sure what this is all about but, unless you are entertaining or a local, I can’t imagine returning. Food is just ok. I think it’s the ambiance, nostalgia and cozy environment that keep people returning not so much the quality of the food. Nice staff, clean restrooms.

What an amazing place. The crab cake eggs Benedict was fantastic. Service was awesome and what a friendly atmosphere.

Gluten free pancake was delicious! Very flavorful with blueberries and cinnamon. I tried the Idaho omelette with hash browns as I’ve heard people rave about it. I got it with sausage links inside instead of sausage bake because the bake contained gluten (I have an allergy.) It was a mediocre omelette. Tasted good but not something I would come back specifically for again. My friend had the eggs Benedict which she enjoyed (not GF.)
