Chen Sunny's Carry Out

I've had the pleasure of trying their chicken steak sandwich. The half sandwich quickly prepared and piping hot is suprisingly filling. In fact so tasty, when I moved away I wanted to be close by in DC, just so I could return time after time to try their consistent and inexpensive treat. I've been so enamoured by the sandwich, it took weeks to try something else on rheir expansive menu. The wings......OMG now if you are a fan of fried chicken wings this unassuming take out makes your mouth water with. the DC favorite. I'm just going to have to try the rest of the menu, but it may take me months.....no, years to get through it all. Enjoy and make sure to let friends know!!

They make a good Chef salad and their French fries (and they're crinkled cut) are good!

Not sure if the service provided was in reference to the 2 young black men I sent in to order the food but for a simple meal of chicken wings and fries it took close to a 40 min wait AND they were the only ones waiting. I had to come into the restaurant and inquire about their timeliness in order to get the food. Not impressed and the food was not remarkable. They are in a service industry and they lack. Will not be returning. Very discouraged.
