Some people are meant to be where they are doing what they’re doing. This lady is a real Woman. They don’t make em like Chef Winnie anymore. Cooking for you like you’re a King/Queen. I tasted what my moms has done all my life-cook with love & tradition. Thoroughly enjoyed. Try everything! Interesting building/parking arrangements but I don’t care when the food and Chef is on point. I wonder how fast they operate in the daytime because I came at closing time and I can only imagine if the chef is solo cooking and taking orders, that can be tough. #TasteTheDifference 5-Star

Chef Winnie takes great pride in her food and makes everything from scratch. The Fish Currey is fantastic, and Awaze Tibs are great! I highly recommend!! FYI-Since it is all made to order it does take time so I recommend ordering 30-40min ahead of time if you are ordering take-out.

Ok I have a lot to say because this place is amazing and even though I've only been once, it made a HUGE impression on me. Vibe. Going to Chef Winnie's felt like going home. It felt familiar like visiting family. It's probably silly to say, but I felt loved. The way that she prepared our food (Fish curry and Jackfruit Awaze tibs) felt like what my grandma would make for me. And I'm sure that was her intention too. She practically adopted my children. By the end of the meal they were calling her grandma (don't tell my mom and MIL). Atmosphere. The restaurant is small and clean. Ethiopian videos on TV. There's a drink case with a variety of drinks. We opted to sit outside since the weather was so beautiful.Small porch but it felt like eating a meal at a friend's home. It's a cozy place.
