Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Cheddars, the place my partner loves and I find just okay. The service is always great and the food is mediocre. Surprisingly the drinks are always delicious, lemonade is fresh and the Texas sweet tea( Firefly Sweet Tea vodka, amaretto, lemonade and more vodka) is always made strong. I enjoy the honey butter croissants and my wife loves the lemon pepper chicken. My shrimp Alfredo sauce was tasty, but the shrimp were overcooked. Always a great place to eat! Service & food was great! I had 6 oz sirloin, with broccoli & salad, very tasty. My husband had the cornmeal fried fish, with coleslaw & broccoli, also very tasty, and fish was cooked just right. Friends had 6oz sirloin too. No room for dessert. Server was very attentive & kind.

Ordered the chicken fried chicken meal with a salad and baked potato. I got everything I asked for with my salad but opened up my meal and there’s NO GRAVY! Oh and Paul’s chocolate cake and ice cream came without the ice cream. So I called the restaurant and was told I didn’t get gravy because they’re out of gravy. Being a logical person I asked why it never notified me about this and he said he doesn’t know but that is why my children fried chicken is without gravy. Really sucks because that’s the part of the meal I was most excited about. Maybe the dogs will enjoy instead. ????
