Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Awful food. Everything we ordered was disgusting. The classic burger, the meat patty tasted like it came in a big sack you buy at costco, it also tasted freezer burnt. The cheese fries were baked, I’ve never had cheese fries as disgusting as the ones I ordered. The monte cristo was overly fried. The chips and queso was mediocre. The chips though? Overly fried. It literally tasted like pure oil. I will say that the margarita was good, except the serve didn’t ask if we wanted it on the rocks or frozen. We sadly got it on the rocks and it was overfilled. A lot of it was spilt over my side of the table area when the server placed it on the table. I asked for extra napkins but never got any. The butter croissant was really good. My family and I will never ever get food from here again. $60 plus the tip wasted down the drain.

Nice place, attentive staff. Ordered the shrimp and chicken strip beer battered. Mmm... not like it much, I wouldn't order again. Couldn't tell what was shrimp or chicken. To crusty, chicken had very hard and fried portions on it, not chewable. Oh well, the drinks were good. Had a good scoring night ???? ????.

The wait time was terrible: we've waited for 40 mins in an empty cafe for a seat. The place is so understaffed, starting from the waiters and ending with the kitchen. One waiter was barking orders at another waiter. We saw kitchen staff walking out from the shift limping from exhaustion. On the positive note. The staff is still superb in their treatment of customers! I don't know how they do! They are so polite, fast on their feet, kind, and professional!! Wow! My lid would have came off from a boiling point long ago if I would have worked there. I do hope the restaurant treats their employees like gold bc that's what they are! Food wise- this is an amazing place! I ordered fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. Oh, it was so good and felt like real home cooking. It was a huge piece of chicken with mash that still had bitable size pieces of potato. The waiter was fast, courteous, professional, and to the point. The food was flying out of the kitchen! Definitely a 5 star!
