Cheba Hut Toasted Subs

The Theme is cool and everything, but super run down and old. The employees kids that are slow and distracted with each other. I asked for no cheese like 3 times, So much that I actually felt ridiculous repeating myself, and still got cheese on my sub. Stood at the bar for 5 min while the bartender talked to her freind at the bar with 3 ppl at it, and drinks at the bar are subpar at best. “Cool aid and rail liquor shots are not it. And apparently they don’t have orange juice? lol. Get subway and save yourself time and money.

As visitors to Madison my partner was infatuated with visiting here and liked it enough to go back a second time for food. I thought the bartender was very friendly and easygoing, and the cheesybread was definitely enjoyable, but some of the (all male) clientele were just a bit gawky at us. No big deal and it was easy to appreciate this for what it was- a good place for a beer, a shot, and some munchies.

Good food. Friendly staff. The bar is a very nice touch. Drinks are great! Take change for the parking 25 cents for 8 minutes.
