Chashu Ramen + Izakaya

Went for lunch and sat at the bar. Atmosphere was pleasant, they play anime and cartoons at the TVs, which o thought adds a nice touch. Tried a couple of things on the sushi menu and were spot on! Really fresh, great flavor and well prepared. Service wasn’t great, but wouldn’t take away a star because of it, they do have a sign stating they are short staffed.

This is an amazing spot right downtown. Super close/walkable from Hanover Theatre and Union Station. The space is beautiful--and so is the food! I ordered the spicy red miso and it was fantastic. Staff was super friendly. They have awesome bar menu with nonalcoholic specialty drinks too. Definitely recommend.

Awesome food and hip atmosphere ???? they have a variety of options depending on your taste. I like to start off with some robatayaki (skewers) and then depending on how many people are in my group, we either order ramen or the woo-bap bowl (4+ people to share) My go-to is the hakata ramen, which has thick chashu slices if that's something you like (I tend to prefer thinner but these are still quite good) with a creamy tonkotsu broth. What makes me visit every so often though is their desserts! They keep their menu fresh and updated with new items every couple of weeks (except for the staple custard ????) and the dishes always incorporate multiple asian ingredients (like ube, matcha, etc.) in a well-balanced and creative way.
