3.8 Stars, Better than average BBQ. Will come back to try other items to get the full experience. Ribs were pretty good, juicy but a little too cooked for my liking, I like a firm bite to the rib looking for that clean dry bone. Looked and tasted good. Sausage was pretty good. Chopped chicken was ok, little dry and no smoke flavor at all, think it may have just been grilled. Mac and cheese was above average, the cornbread was moist and tasted great. Meat was good, but not amazing. I didn’t think the brisket was worth the extra surcharge as it wasn’t super flavorful. The sausage and pulled pork were good! The cornbread was very tasty but the star was the chocolate cornbread! It was my favorite part of the meal. I’m told they make it from box mix, which is fine but a bit disappointing when it was the best thing on the menu. Of the sauces I tried, the Carolina mustard was the best.
Friendly staff and delicious food. The honey butter they make and cornbread was amazing. I'll need to order less next time so I can try dessert.
