Absolutely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had! I eat Asian food 4 times a week. The Hot and Soup soup tasted smokey and burned. The General Tso’s Chicken smells like smoke and tastes old. It does not taste fresh like it was cooked today. The friend rice does not have a fresh taste. Will never order from here again. This cannot be that same place that has so many great reviews! It’s so horrible though that I cannot give it a second chance. I’ve never thrown Chinese food away in my life, and tonight’s is going in the trash. This was Door dash delivery that came quickly, but just tastes awful.
Disclaimer- I am a VERY picky eater. Ordered a variety of things, from beef and broccoli to chicken teriyaki, wonton soup, white and fried rice.. To try this place out for the first time.. and i have to say, I'm very impressed ????. Everything was tasty.. nothing was bad that i would not get again..
This was the worst chinese food I have had in Houston. I checked it out due to high number of reviews and high rating. I ordered Sweet and Sour chicken as well as some House Fried Rice. The chicken in the Sweet and Sour chicken was over fried, giving off a burnt flavor. The seasoning was lacking on the chicken too. The sauce was very thick and sweet, not a hint of sourness. The fried rice was slimy and over seasoned. Not a pleasant meal, and definitely terrible to used as leftovers. Chang's is no good.
