CHALIO MEXICAN RESTAURANT

First time here, food was pretty amazing but key notes were the 1. There's a huge sign in the front that states they have $5 burritos but what they don't tell you is that Asada is not included which you don't realize until you get the bill 1. The hostess stopped us before we even entered the door in a pretty aggressive manner and asked if we were being dining in, my first thought was inside dining was closed but no she just wanted to know which I found extremely odd and offputting. 2. She sat us I asked her about the $5 burritos and she confirmed there was no exclusions... she misinformed us :/ 3. Waitress was super nice!! Great Memory, attentive, and timely but we never received our chips and salsa :/ 4. Hostess kept circling tables slowly just staring at everyone like she was REALLY REALLY bored ????. Other than that everything we tried was phenomenal which was a Molcajete Azteca, Chile Verde, Pozole, and Asada burrito ????

I love the food but some of the waiters are very mean Today june 10 I been there and the 2 waiters never said good morning they just said you can not bring drinks from outside and then they never come to my table we ask for chip and again they had actitid first.

Very good brunch! I had the carne asada with enchilada and it was just right. The meat was tender and well cooked with good spices. The enchilada was perfectly soft and cheesy. The corn tortillas they serve are huge and very soft and go great with everything there. So far, a great spot!
